Philadelphia Old City Boutique: Never Too Spoiled

While pounding the cobblestones in Old City, I was lucky enough to discover the semi-newer women's boutique, Never Too Spoiled on 2nd and Arch.  Pleasantly greeted by the store owner and pretty associates, I felt like I wandered into a photo-opt for Free People (total compliment by-the-way).  Never Too Spoiled's boho-style clothes and massive collection of accessories and jewelry is an urban, hippie's oasis.

The walls are hung with pretty pieces by Ryu, southwestern knits by Costa Blanca and graphic tops by WildFox and Black Sheep.  Most of the merchandise is California-based fair trade and handpicked by the owner Lolly Galvin to keep the bohemian-vintage vibe.  It's not as pricey as some of the neighboring boutiques on Old City and designer Carie Shappelle creates many of the items herself.  Most clothing is around the $40-$70 price range and TONS of jewelry around $20.  The back room is filled with draped cabana dressing rooms and whimsical displays of bedroom and bathroom possibilities.  After the holidays,  they are expanding next door for not only sale space, but to host cool neighborhood "shtuff", ie. yoga classes and children's birthday parties, etc.  Never Too Spoiled is also located in the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing, New Jersey.
