Hmmmm.....so Club Monaco was honestly never on my radar. It's a brand I never gravitated towards, and now I have no idea why. I heard they redesigned it's Center City Store, so I popped in a few weeks ago to 1503 Walnut Street to check it out. I could not believe the wonderful experience I received, from the sweet sale associates & managers, to the layout, art work and visual displays. The store zig-zags a bit, broken into a boutique format with white partition walls and high grey ceilings. I'm gonna shoot and say the muse was a chic-Parisian blended with a metro-New Yorker, without any pretentiousness.

The mix of modern, yet playful artwork complemented the current collection of sorbet cashmere, paisley pants and cobalt blue skirts & scarves. I'm a sucker for accessories and fell head-over-heels for Club Monaco's beanies, mouth-watering gemstone necklaces, rings and bracelets. I was surprised to cling to the spring Paisley print and it matches so well with stripes! Layering light pieces together is key and this collection is perfect to rotate each item together and those already inhabiting in your closet:)

The back room will always hold the essentials....basic suits, vests and button-down shirts that are fit to last. This room had a luxe/studious flare, with mixes of leather, soft t-shirts and faux-fur. Club Monaco is pricier, but well worth investing in a beautiful cashmere sweater or suit. Currently, this location only sells it's women's collection and menswear is available online.
